The weirdest thing. I could replicate exactly the same in multiplayer. However, at one point, I was able to eject with a sequence [jettison canopy - F2 view - eject] in both MP and SP and after a couple of other tests later that no longer succeeded in ejecting the pilot. The difference was that if canopy was no longer there in F2 view, the eject was succesful. In the unsuccesful attempt, the canopy was again in place despite the jettison a couple seconds earlier in F1 view.

Not pointing fingers at another 3rd party, but Polychop mentioned their old sounds code for the Gazelle using an outdated API library. May the same be somewhat feasible for this issue?

I created a work-around for this issue now that should work. Sorry it took a while. Thanks for all the reports!
