Radar passive tracking

Hello everyone

 

For APG-65, although SIL mode stops active radiation transmission, its receiver is still working. A/A SIL, which can receive other radar signals and locate them (in direction and elevation, no ranging). There are two OSBs in SIL: quick look and STOW. Can this passive tracking be implemented in the future?

Given the options are there, I'm sure this will come at some point. Sounds interesting

This is not just needed for the Hornet, but also some other aircraft that have a recieve only radar mode (e.g. the Viggen).
