sirrah Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Yet another JSOW question, I know.. I just didn't want to hijack any of the other JSOW threads. First of all, what an awesome weapon this is :shocking: Great fun to play with! One small question though: When loading 2 JSOW's on 1 pylon (let's say two on station 2 and two on station 8 ), is it possible to give each of them different attack coordinates? I tried this yesterday, but as soon as I press the "step" button it switches from sta 2 to sta 8. Is there maybe something like a sta 2A and 2B option somewhere that I missed? Jak525 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Yeah, this is currently not working correctly, per Wags. He said an option to select the individual bombs on the station will be coming.
AG-51_Sabot Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I ran one of our missions last night and I had to set the first four up, launch them, turn back towards Mother, re-programs the second set, and then commenced the re-attack on 4 different targets. All eight JSOW's hit where they were programmed at 8 different targets. 4 on a shipyard dock and 4 on an airfield 20 NM away. "There is an art … to flying. Kayos Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 I think it will go from the first one on station 8, step, first one on station 2, step, second one on station 8, step, second one on station 2. I think Wags did a video on it already, check his youtube channel. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
backspace340 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 You can do it in one attack if you set up a PP1 & PP2 for each station. Before you attack, step through and make sure everything is on PP1 - then as you get in range you can pickle four times (it'll automatically step through the stations after each pickle), after the fourth pickle you need to press the button for PP2 and then pickle again and repeat that for the next three stations. I've mapped OSB 7 on the LDDI to my HOTAS, so I can just click Pickle x4, OSB7, Pickle, OSB 7, Pickle, OSB 7, Pickle, OSB 7, Pickle - and 8 bombs launch in a couple of seconds and hit 8 different targets.

Jak525 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 (edited) Yeah as Backspace says, that works for now. But I think it's supposed to treat each bomb individually rather than each station. Edited June 17, 2019 by Jak525
