MajBach Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Hi everyone. I would have thought this to be a very commonly asked question but I am having difficulty finding it. How can I import my control mapping from one plane to another? I did it successfully from the Su25 to the SU27 (albeit a lot of differences and gaps) but I cant seem to did it between the Su27 ans the Su33. FOr instance - when I save my profile while flying the 27, then switch planes to fly the 33, if I load the 27 profile, the bindings are mapped properly but as soon as I return to the game they do not work and are gone when I return to the setup menu.

I don't think the mappings are interchangeable. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
Rudel_chw Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Do you know what file stores the mappings? They are stored on the folder /Saved Games/{DCS or DCS.openbeta}/Config/Input For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
hansangb Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 That's C:\users\Your_User_Name\Saved Games.... Also, if you make a change to the default, you'll end up with diff.lua files. Those you can't modify. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
