Sergeant_Hamlet Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Hey all, I've been learning multi-target attacks with the JSOW but I've hit a snag. If I load four JSOWs on four separate stations, I can step between them no problem and assign each missile a different target. But If I have four JSOWs loaded on two stations using double racks, then the step button only switches the station, and I can't cycle between the JSOWs loaded on that station. If I select a station and input a target data, it gets assigned to both JSOWs loaded on that station. Is there a way to step between four JSOWs loaded on two stations? thanks
Jak525 Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 Wags said this will be fixed. When it is we'll have an option to select the left / right of a single mount.
Sergeant_Hamlet Posted June 21, 2019 Author Posted June 21, 2019 Oh cool. I thought I was just missing something. Thanks.

You don't need to cycle between JSOWs on that station - set up a PP1 and PP2 for each station, so you'll have 8 total (they can all be different targets). Then step through and make sure every station is on PP1. Then you can drop 4 JSOWs with four pickles, and when it cycles back to the first station, switch to PP2 and pickle, and repeat that for each remaining station. You'll drop 8 JDAMs/JSOWs on 8 targets.

The sequence is not one from each station for 6 stores 8,2,7,3, then the 2nd store for 8 and 2. I forget the exact sequence but its something odd like 8,2,7,2,8,3 . So you can't just pickle 4 times, then switch to PP2 , you have to keep an eye on which station is dropping next and use a manual STEP to ensure all the 4 PP1 stores have dropped before switching to PP2 for the 2nd store on 8 and 2. May work better with 8 stores loaded?
