Normally, when a bomb program is CCIP but there is a TGT designated, it will act as if in AUTO. However, if you designate a TGT before setting CCIP mode, it doesn't do this. I believe it should always go to AUTO; Wags made an entire video about this a while ago, saying it is not possible to be in CCIP and have a TGT designated.

EDIT: track now attached

I've also noticed this. If I have a designated target and then switch to a weapon configured to CCIP, I'll get the CCIP symbology and still have the TGT diamond.

Wags said that the hornet can go from AUTO to CCIP by Undesignate hotas button only if your program is CCIP and you have a TGT designated.

That sounds like a bug for sure. Our hornet (real and dcs) does not show CCIP delivery if there is a TGT designated, no matter what.

I think it's a bug, yes. It happens when I've, for example, hit WPDSG for a MAV attack, but change my mind and switch to the Mk-82, which configured to CCIP.

I cant test today, can you provide a video or track? I would like to see it with my own eyes :)

I'm away from home for 2 weeks, but you can try the scenario I mentioned above and see if you can reproduce it.

*Load up MAVs and Mk-82s

*Set a WP on the ground

*Set up the Mk-82 for CCIP

*Choose the MAV

*Press WPDSG, get the TGT diamond

*Exit the MAV

*Select the Mk-82. You will see the CCIP symbology and the TGT diamond will remain visible

Mmmm, your OP doesnt sound like what we are talking about at all.:D
Harker is describing a way to reproduce the bug I stated in the OP. The bug is that a TGT can exist in CCIP.
