Hi folks,

even though this may be a general problem with DCS, I will post my problem here because i'm referring especially to the F-14.

As you can read in the titel the backlights of the buttons are very dim. I can only read them when it's pitch black outside. First i thought it was a bug in the F-14 but since i saw videos where this problem doesen't occur i assume it's more a problem with my settings.

If you guys have any ideas/solutions it would be much appreciate.

It's been like this since about 2 updates ago. ED changed something and it broke the lights.

Hopefully HB can successfully liaise with ED to bring the lights back to how they were. It would be nice if we could get an status update from them. Two OB updates down the line and not yet fixed.

This is really annoying me for some weeks now. I waited with a bug report because I wanted to make some Screenshots first to post them along with the report, but haven't come around to do so yet. The buttons are absolutly unreadable without backlighting (even in bright daylight!) and even with full backlighting they're still very dimm and hard to read. It's the biggest issue I currently have with the Tomcat. :(

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

Yes, it is very unfortunate. 2.5.5 introduced a change that is affecting lighting, etc... and we are still working on finding a solution for that. hopefully soon!
