Blinde Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Hi Heatblur and other Guys... i think that i found the solution…. for me it was my own fault! At the aproach i switched all the Autopilot Chanels to on. Thats the mistake! Dont switch altitute and heading holt on ! Only the Autopilotselector to ACL and the Autopilotswitch to engage. Sry Heatblur for all the trouble… pls… Guys check if the Problem is now fixed for you ! Yes indeed. Thank you for figuring this out. This really is the solution  Tried it several times with different loadouts and it works every time without the wing drop. I feel so dumb.
IronMike Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 (edited) Hahaha, ok guys, we just started wondering in the video as it does not look very clear from the angle... are these switches up? Very glad that the ghost chase is over, but please guys, there is no need to apologize. It's quite amazing that we did not catch that earlier, I just never thought of it, it's not your fault at all. Happy fully automated landings, guys! EDIT: also completely overlooked Schlomo reporting hdg and alt hold engaged... I guess it is a bit like not seeing the forrest, because of all the trees :-) Edited October 28, 2019 by IronMike Heatblur Simulations Please feel free to contact me anytime, either via PM here, on the forums, or via email through the contact form on our homepage. http://www.heatblur.com/ https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
RaisedByWolves Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 I just tried. Verified ALT and HDG hold not engaged. No wing drop.
IronMike Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 We revisited the manual and in fact nothing indicates that ACLS would not work if HDG and ALT hold is engaged, this will now be possible in the next patch. It makes sense that the ACLS would override these instead of ditching the airplane into the water, which is how we might implement it a patch thereafter, we will look into that, but for now both will work, either with HDG and ALT hold enageged or disengaged.
