I read somewhere that from the pilot seat one cant setup adf navigation using pilots radio? Is that a feature that is going to be added later, or is that like in a real thing?

The UHF 1 radio in the pilot's seat has an ADF mode. The bearing is shown on the BDHI. I haven't actually tried it though.

The UHF 1 ARC-159 ADF function is not functional; use the DF mode of the V/UHF 2 ARC-182.
