SUBS17 Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 Map view shows runway 130 but it is in fact 120. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Emmy Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Perfectly normal. Runways are often +/- 10 degrees off their markings. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com
SUBS17 Posted July 15, 2019 Author Posted July 15, 2019 No they are not, what does the real Batumi have? It has to be accurate for IFR IRL. [sIGPIC] [/sIGPIC]
Shimmergloom667 Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 https://skyvector.com/airport/UGSB/Batumi-Airport Rwy 13 has magnetic heading of 126°, so with the MVAR in the Caucasus region 120° true heading would be correct. i7 - 9700K | 32 GB DDR4 3200 | RTX 2080 | VKB Gunfighter Mk II /w MCG Pro | Virpil T-50CM2 Throttle | TrackIR 5 | VKB Mk. Canada_Moose Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Well, the F10 map view shows True headings where the runways are marked with Magnetic heading. Even then in this case, the runway is marked 13 / 31 but the actual mag headings are 126 and 306 respectively. Bottom line - have your charts handy if you are IFR
