dburne Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 No. Didn't get a firmware update. Don't know why? Is there a way to force the firmware update? The firmware update is currently only available in the Public Test Channel. You can opt in for the PTC in the settings/Beta tab of the Oculus desktop app. It will eventually roll out to release version once testing/feedback is finished. That is weird, you could try opting out of the PTC and it will roll you back to the release version of 1.39, then try opting in again and see if you get the firmware update then. Madmatt_BFC Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 (edited) The latest PTC firmware revision for the headset will show up in Oculus Home as 1.8.1. The latest PTC version of the Oculus Home application will show as: Oculus App Version 1.39.0.272909 (1.39.0.272909) Combined I have been having no issues at all with white flashes, excellent tracking of the controllers and great performance. Still wish the integrated audio was a bit louder but I now usually run with headphones so that's not much of an issue for me any longer. parxuk Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 My firmware updated today. Pleased to say no static white flashes, and I'm convinced the performance has improved considerably.
