Unable to enter main menu

Version: 2.5.5.33552(open beta July. 17)

 

Situation: Start DCS world via run.exe, just frozen at per-load screen, but it can hear main menu theme music within a few seconds. The current way I known to bypass the issue is that force stop DCS processing when hear the music and restart DCS world - it can enter main menu in the second time starting, but not the first time.

please try again, then attach your dcs.log here so we can take a look.

 

If you have not already try this.

 

Cleanup and repair.

 

then

 

Rename your dcs folder in saved games location ( keep it as a backup )

restart dcs, login and redo settings.

Are you using offline mode?

 

If so you may need to go online to do the cleanup and repair successfully.

 

Also please ensure windows and gpu drivers are up to date.

 

Did you also try the fresh saved games folder?

1. It seems not being related to online or offline mode because I have tested online mode but the problem exists.

 

2. Windows version is up to date but the GPU driver not.

 

3. Sorry I didn't refresh saved game folder yet.

Try the saved games folder, it will rule out a settings issue

Rename your dcs folder in saved games location to reset it. Copy over your controls later or redo them etc.

 

Just rename it OLD_DCSBeta etc
