Biga42 Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 How do I know the outside temperature in the cockpit?
QuiGon Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Look up, above your head ;) Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
Tippis Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 If it's from a cold start, you can effectively read it off the engine/transmission oil indicators on the back panel — they should start out at the ambient temperature. ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. You are a Goon. ❧ ❧

Why so complicated? Just look above your head and you will always see the current outside temperature. Tippis Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Sometimes you just have a sore neck :P ❧ ❧ Inside you are two wolves. One cannot land; the other shoots friendlies. You are a Goon. ❧ ❧
QuiGon Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Lalt+B and scroll down. Voila, works also. No, it doesn't unless you are at sea level and the weather hasn't changed. As soon as you are above sea level and/or the weather has changed it won't tell you the outside temp around you anymore. And tilting your head is still easier than scrolling through a briefing (unless you have a sore neck :D).
