Last week I went for a quick sortie with a friend (COOP enabled CTB campaign). I sat in the RIO seat and suddenly I was able to read everything.. the Weapon selector drum was most noticible, because I suddenly was able to read it (with VR zoom). Nothing has changed on my end in months. same HMD (vive) same settings in SteamVR and in the Game. But the change was very noticeable for me. But I saw no such thing mentioned in the CL. SteamVR had an update a week or so ago that increased the rendering scale. This made everything more clear but also the default SS resolution went up for your respective percentage. i.e. 1400 x 1600 at 100% is now at something like 2500 x 3000 at 100%. I'm doing 224% in SteamVR, and PD1.0 in DCS. But I expected FPS to go down if render target size has been increased... However my frame rate only went up. I guess that DCS VR optimization thing that they stopped talking about.
