Need help with "Attack group" task

There is a flight of AI Sabres armed with bombs, and there is a group of Russian infantry. At some point the Sabres get the task "Attack Group" set, but they just fly away, never attack. The same task is set for my own flight, so I give them the order "engage mission and rejoin" - they fly away. Can anyone help me please?

Base task of group is "Ground Attack" ("CAS")?

All affirm. The reason was that they flew away from flak. I had to set their reaction to threat to no reaction. But when done at the SP it didn’t work so I had to push it.

"Push it" ... you mean to the waypoint before?

 

 

What about setting "Reaction to threat" to "Use passive defense" (=use chaff and flares) ?
