hey guys, after recently mastering (well, learning how to use the weapons systems anyway wink.gif ) the A-10 and F-15 in LOMAC,i decided to go commie and set up a rusky co-op with the the US against Ukraine using a Mig 29. i started the mission up,and i pressed A to disengage the autopilot. nothing happened. i kept pressing A. i turned and went into an irreversible barrel roll. i tried it over and over again. when i was finally able to stop tumbling i went to engage a SU-25. pressed the lock on button and pressed FIRE on my X52. nothing happened. i pressed space,it fired. im thinking there's a different key layout for rusky aircraft. are there any training missions or help files available for the MiG 29 on LOMAC?

Not sure about the first part

Second Part: The launch button on Russian aircraft is reversed. Use whatever button you have mapped as the cannon for the F-15 and that will be your missile launch button

I'm not sure I understand the first part. Most of the mission i start does not have autopilot engaged, so you don't have to disengage it. Do you know how to trim the aircraft? Are you sure hold altitude is not on?

And yea, the regular space bar fires both guns and missiles for Russian planes. Training missions are available but they are under the Su-27 training mission. It was pointless to create a whole new tutorial for the MiG-29 seeing how both the Su-27 and MiG are so similar.

There's a pile of Autopilot modes (Alt+1,2,3,4,5,9,') available in LO and pressing these key combos activates attitude hold, att and roll hold, baro alt hold, radar alt hold, autopilot disengage and autopilot override (works only with Su-25T).

But pressing these keys lits up Autopilot led located in lower left corner of dashboard just like the plain A key does!

Try disengaging AP with Alt+5 (IIRC).

I am sorry but I think you didn't read manual too end of it. Try read its manual more deeper, cause it is not Falcon 700 pages, it is only 200-300. About trainings of MiG-29, there don't have to be exactly MiG-29-it is so similar with Su-27 so far :). All Russia's machines have Fire button mapped on Space button. It is normal.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D
