Hi there,

Recently I´m getting issues with my 3 TM MFDs. For some reason, they stop working, turning the lights in sequence like only one of them got power every second.

It happens both during normal Windows usage or DCS, which ruins my flights.

Sometimes while taxiing, sometimes during carrier patterns, sometimes at any random phase of the flight, so I can´t establish a pattern.

I have been running the same system and extra stuff (check my signature) for several months, so I don´t understand why this issue is showing up now.

Talking with my sqn mates, they suggest my PSU is having problems, big time, to support all my USB devices and rig.

Indeed by today standards, it´s a 450W PSU, which is short.

I have another PSU around, 600W.

Before I make my mind to change the PSU, do you think there is another solutions around?

I have also checked and been used two powered USB hubs to connect everything, plus an Inateck USB 3.0 extra card for the Rift sensors.

I´m a bit stubborn because my system worked fine till recently, so that´s why I think the 450W PSU couldn´t be the issue.

My friends also suggest the 1080 is demanding more power for refrigeration than in previous months so that´s why I didn´t have any issues during colder months.

Any help?

Disable selective suspend in the advanced power options

Next go to device manager and open every usb device and uncheck the allow computer to turn off power management

Here are some directions

Ive found however that windows doesnt always dsiable power management so going into regedit to disable it is the final solution
