30mikemike Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Hi guys, just got my Rift S and I was wondering if I should be using the Oculus Tray Tool for setting PD etc? Or is the in game one fine to use? Thanks... i7 8700k @ 5.0ghz. Strix GTX1080Ti. 32GB RAM @ 3600. 2x Hyper X SSD’s with DCS on one. Oculus Rift S. Asus PG278-QR. dburne Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Hi guys, just got my Rift S and I was wondering if I should be using the Oculus Tray Tool for setting PD etc? Or is the in game one fine to use? Thanks... I would choose the in game setting for PD myself. I do use OTT though with a profile set for DCS for other things, like setting my ASW off. I have another flight sim that does not have a PD setting in game, and I set it with the SS setting in the Tray Tool. Drac Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Hi guys, just got my Rift S and I was wondering if I should be using the Oculus Tray Tool for setting PD etc? Or is the in game one fine to use? Thanks... I would test both situations. For me, using the OTT for PD worked better for me. Also in OTT, I turned AWS to "disable".

Yeah I also disable ASW with the OTT - just seems better for me. 30mikemike Posted September 14, 2019 Author Posted September 14, 2019 Cheers guys... So once I point OTT to the DCS folder will that override the in game PD setting or do I have to do anything? i7 8700k @ 5.0ghz. Strix GTX1080Ti. 32GB RAM @ 3600. 2x Hyper X SSD’s with DCS on one.
