Florida Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) Just point me in the right direction. I've done everything I can to my controls, but can't seem to figure out how to apply modifiers to those controls. Where is the "how to" on this? Duh! Never mind! So many different manuals, so little time. Edited September 13, 2019 by gpbarth Found the answer -= Gary =- a.k.a. Revs Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 modifiers are like "Shift, CTRL,Alt…..etc" press it in combination with other keys. so essentially if you only have 2 buttons on joystick you can assign it to 6+ commands using combinations with the modifier ie. "Shift + joystick buton 1" you can also combine modifiers like "CTRL + Alt + Joystick button 1" after you successfully add any button as a modifier like " TM throttle button 1 , you can assigned them by selecting from the column of controller you will be combining the modifier with like "Logitech joystick" then you press the "TM throttle button 1 + Logitech joystick button 1" Ryzen 1700 @ 3.8GHz / 32GB( 4x8 ) @ 3.2GHz / 1TB ADATA NVMe System Drive / 232GB NVMe Samsung 960 / ASUS dual RTX 2080ti / Reverb / Rift CV1 / T-16000M FCS flight pack A10C/M2000C/F5E/SA342/Mi8/UH1H/KA50/AJS-37/FA-18C/AV-8B/F-14/Mig29/CA/SU-27
cthulhu68 Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 1. Decide what button you want to use as modifier and see if its listed in "add modifier" dropdown. 2. If you want to use a button on controller or something else not listed in "add modifier" dropdown go to "modifiers" on control page and add it to list. It needs to be a button not assigned to anything else so clear anything bound to it. You can have it work as modifier or switch. As modifier you will press it along with other button for 2nd assignment or as a switch to toggle 2nd assignment of that button. 3.Once you've got your modifier button set up simply choose it from "add modifier" along with button/buttons youre assigning control to. 1
MadMickeyMouse Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Format of modifier name (No spaces allowed) After trying modifiers for the first time myself using a Thrustmaster HOTAS kit, I searched the net and found this post. Had already tried everything mentioned. Using the button on the throttle #15 left throttle button, I set it up as described. NOTE I read in a forum before after being stuck that you can click the ADD button even though it is grey/blurred. I named my new modifier Left Throttle Button but nothing worked  Then I read everything again and had all correct. BUT I had spaces in the name on the modifier, but seeing that there was_underscore_between_words I tried that. It worked!! Now my modifier is named: Left_Thr_Btn and it's all good  [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]"In Paragliding Aerobatics it's not the speed that kills you, but the lack of it..."
