I think we were all used to the small lag appearing in MP when units were activated. It was a good hint that "something" was about to happen. But recently, this lag increased from a few split of a second to almost 5 seconds or more. That is really freaking out everyone.

We experiences that on 2 different dedicated servers. Activating ground units. (1 convoy of no more than 6 to 8 units at a time).

Haven't seen much people with this problem on the forum though.

Hi BaD CrC

hope you are well.

Without knowing how many units were activated and how ( late activation / scripted ), and what the server spec is it will be difficult to diagnose.

Without being able to serve with a track file or something more helpful, I srill would like to add +1 to that issue.

If I'm able to get something more helpful, I'm gonna share it here.

I've experienced it especially when flying sedlos red flag f-18 mission with 3 other guys and hosting myself.

I've been idly studying this because it also seems to happen when you dynamically spawn troops ( CTLD, for instance ) - what size group is it? does changing group size make any difference? some discussion prompted a theory that it's a pathfinding issue ( as in units starting pathfinding is stalling the server tick ) so there's a chance using smaller groups would ease it.
