One question guys, there is a member that keeps giving me bad rep because I'm posting big photos and apparently is my fault he has low band with. You guys prefer I just post the link instead of the photos? I'm simply trying to share photos that I find interesting or cool. I figure I ask you guys, my intent is not to ruin the thread with large photos.

Thank you for you patience.

I`m posting big pics as well, not because I like to make the page slow to view but because it`s much easier to check out the big pics and open the higher res. version of those you like. When they are posted as thumbnails you can hardly see anything and have to open them all, basically you lose more time.

But if the photo is really big like 3000+ resolution I`m putting it as a thumbnail. Sometimes it really gets slow to load huge photos, especially if they are several. That`s my way of posting - many smaller res. pics in full view, several huge res. photos as thumbnails. But hey anyone can choose the way to post pics unless it becomes a really big issue to view them for a lot of people.

Cool, sounds like a good idea, I will try that in the future. I normally just copy photos from .il web site and out of laziness in my part I just copy the direct link to them

I'm probably one of those not very pleased with 2+ MB images but I havent given you any negative rep for that, IIRC. I snapped when someone embedded 15 to 20 MB of images in one post (~4 MB images). Although the forum rules don't specify the max size for an image but they do mention posting with consideration of users with low bandwidth. Huge over 4 MB images (few of them) can even bring a netbook to its knees due to high CPU load, so it's not a bandwidth issue exclusively. That said I'm pretty sure we don't need references to official rules to sort this out.

When one posts images he hosts from his own account on image sharing service such as photobucket posting clickable thumbnails is trivial (and you can get multiple images posted like that at once). The problem is with images posted from external sources like mvsgas usually does. Does anyone know of any method of posting thumbnails for such images?

The only solution I have found is

It works the same as clickable signatures like mine but this obviously requires a smaller version of the original picture to be available somewhere so you can get its URL. Any other ideas?

Extra fuel, done it also. F-16 has better range/equal than F-15 (depending on the versions)

... you mean a tank-surrounded F-16 vs. a clean F-15? :D Maybe.

Compared to an F-15C with three tanks on-board, not likely :D

You want to fly the viper GG :D. "You ain't got to lie to kick it lyrics"

Nah, I don't. It's claustrophobic, and lacks the pwnage factor of an F-15C ... I'll take a Raptor too :D

You put 2 engines on a Viper and give it TVC, Ill show you an aircraft that could go toe to toe with anyone out there. OR, you can put a PracticallyWorthless 135 turbofan on the falcon, and watch her dance a little more.
