ED Team Groove Posted October 16, 2007 ED Team Posted October 16, 2007 I don't think STEAM users are a good representation of flight sim customers. We tend to keep our systems stronger than average. We are not the majority of the simmers imho. There are far more people with average PCs playing Lomac than us sim geeks with latest equipment. But i will start a poll on the tech forums :D Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
The_GOZR Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 will not support multi-core or DX10-specific features. Well i guess they will the miss the train again.. always years behind right up the start.. again..
Guest Chicote2 Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Congrats to ED. They've avoided taking the easy decision to limp on with LOMAC and have come up with a strategy which gives us a new sim, even tho I don't like helos, which can expand both in its core engine and with additional flyables over time. In addition to this theres a potential patch for LOMAC to help us over the transition or give us a better version of LOMAC we can stick with, its our choice so we can't complain. Well done.
RvETito Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Well i guess they will the miss the train again.. always years behind right up the start.. again.. They miss the train because they took the Concorde :D Don't jump to a conclusions about something you haven't seen yet. I inderstand your point(or at least I'm giving my best) but the pure negativism right up the start is not the best advisor. You could miss the good things. "See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89. =RvE=
