prof_laser Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Latest open beta, no mods. Trackfile attached. In NAV mode, I can select the TGP on the right display, make it SOI, and slew it around using my slew-button of my TM Warthog HOTAS. Once I call up A2G mode, the area track is lost, and even when the TGP is SOI, I can't slew it anymore. It is now fixed relative to the aircraft.F-16C TGP not working in A2G.trk
prof_laser Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 Addendum: works correctly when selecting CCRP after switching to A2G mode. Track attached.F-16C TGP not working in A2G WORKAROUND.trk
ED Team Wags Posted October 3, 2019 ED Team Posted October 3, 2019 Hi Prof, For slewing the pod around, you must be CCRP. Thanks Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
prof_laser Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 Thanks for the quick response! If this is not documented (couldn't find it in the guide), then there is a bug in the documentation. (It's not obvious to me that this requires CCRP, and won't work in CCIP).
ED Team Wags Posted October 3, 2019 ED Team Posted October 3, 2019 Actually, I talk about this in the video I did. Thanks Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
prof_laser Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 Then my bad. Thanks for your great support!
prof_laser Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 I just went through the transcript of the TGP video. Couldn't find it. You just select CCRP, but you do not mention that it won't work in CCIP. (AFAICS)
Whozdär Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 Yeah, bunch of people confused by that, me included. Read the manual (page 115), watched Wags' video multiple times and only figured it out today when reading forum. The issue is the manual, really. It only mentions it at the very end in the laser chapter. But this information should be provided on page 115 in the A2G chapter.
