InFlames Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 And I have a problem already... After I installed FC (CD version) over 1.02 and tried running it, I got blue screen with BAD_POOL_CALLER message... Then I deinstalled lomac and started a fresh install of 1.00 and then installed FC over it... and again I received the same message. What could be the problem and is there any easy way out to sort the problem? I include the pic of the BSOD message... My Specs: WinXP (SP 2) Intel C2D E6400 2Gb Ram Nvidia 8800GTS 320Mb (driver Forceware 163.71) Thanks for your help!

Tez Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Most probably it is a driver (software or device). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] =653=Tez
159th_Viper Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Uninstall and make 100% certain that you have completed the uninstall process by deleting all the relevant keys in the registry either manually or by another relevant programme. Reboot. Then Install LockOn, Install Flaming Cliffs and then patch to 1.12a. Make 100% certain that you are applying the correct patch for the version of Flaming Cliffs that you are running - a lot of errors are attributed to the incorrect patch. Hope you get sorted soon :) Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? Click me to commence your Journey of Pillage and Plunder! InFlames Posted October 22, 2007 Author Posted October 22, 2007 Guys, thanks for advice! I identified the problem through Windows error report service and they suggested I should update StarForce drivers... I found a beta version for Vista, installed it and voila! Flamming Cliffs are working!
