[APPROACH BEACONS] Fuel Quantity Select Panel Light/Sound?

Occasionally just after takeoff a green light and beeping sound will emanate from the Fuel Quantity Select Panel on the lower center console. Tonight I actually got two different audio tones, a high and a few seconds later a low tone. There’s nothing mentioned in the manual about this light and sounds, anyone know what they’re indicating?

I've also had this happen and wondered what it was and couldn't find it in the manual.

I also got this while doing the takeoff mission and was also wondering what it was, thought it might have something to do with the external tanks.

 

So you're saying this is similar to the beep you hear in the Flanker when you are just about to pass the runway threshold?

Yes, what Shimmergloom667 said. You can try it if you want at Senaki-Kolkhi. Just fly over it to land at Senaki-Kolkhi and you will hear two different tones passing over the Outer/Inner Marker.

Huh. I’m familiar with marker beacons in real life, guess it should have dawned on me when I got the two different tones. That the light looks like it’s part of the FQSP definitely didn’t help.
