[NOT ACCURATE] G-Limiter for +33% G Limit

i read in some Articles that F-16 Pilots can withstand over 10G. That could not happen without Extending the Systems G-Limiter

Just because something can be done does not mean it is done. Even and esp. irl. Can all the stores and racks with all those Mavs do 10G?

Also the lifespan of the Airframe and Systems suffers a lot.

If you want to see what Hell looks like when Satan himself is hung over as after drinking for three weeks straight AND has a bad case of the runs, come back to the Crewchief with a jet that you've hit 10G in deliberately. You will know pain, damnation and hellfire worse than anything you've ever experienced before you're handed over to the Maint' boss for more buttchewing, and then to your fellow pilots that might just give you a new callsign for it IF you still get to fly.

Besides that, the Viper doesn't have a G-limiter. The FLCS will try to limit your maximum AOA depending on your speed and which CAT you're in, but it's up to the FSA (FlightStick Actuator), aka pilot, to not deliberately break the jet and subject himself to the fun effects of causing potentially catastrophic structural damage to the jet he/she is currently occupying.

The ACES-II seat can do much, but it can't save you from stupid every time.

Clustermunitions is just another way of saying that you don't like someone.

I used to like people, then people ruined that for me.

To say the least, mate... couldn't agree more

With best regards.

CAT 3?

Limits AOA, not G. One can argue that G is a function of AOA + airspeed, however, but still.

In cruise gains the F-16 IS AOA/G rated. So whichever hits first is the limiting factor. So in CAT 1 when the ~25,6 AOA hits earlier than 9,2G's it will be limited in AOA. If 9,2 is hit first, the Viper will be G limited. So the more AOA you get the less G you can pull.

In CAT 3 it is the same AOA/G rated but now the max AOA is ~18 and G limit is still 9,2G

In landing gains the Viper is pitch rated till about 10 AOA where it will graudually becomes AOA limited (max 21).
