centermass Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I get this error when trying to run my game. I think this was caused by installing PowerISO. Removing PowerISO does not fix. The errors in the support section appear to concern authentication by downloaded versions of the game. My version is a CD-ROM version. I tried repairing my install and that did not work. Has anyone been through this before?
ED Team Groove Posted October 22, 2007 ED Team Posted October 22, 2007 I think you have still a virtual drive installed. Check for it and report again :D Thread moved to the correct section btw. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
centermass Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 Thanks for moving to the correct forum. I have always had virtual drives, I have Alcohol 120 virtual drives. Uninstalling PowerISO did not fix anything. Anyone got any ideas?
Boberro Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 I also have various virtuals DVDs, ect and working good. Try to see Control Panel > Device meneger and check if you get any error or new driver installed. Or also you can use applications to completely REMOVE SF (not from producer) example sfclean ect. Restart. After that run game, SF again will be installed. Maybe that helps. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
herig2 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 The same thing happen to me, and it drove me crazy. I tryed this and that untill I was blue in the face. Then by accident I found if the rotaries ( use for trim ) and the slide button ( Zoom ) was not center on my X52, I recived the Star Force Error window, and / or after the Star Force window appear the computer lock up, and then I had to do a force shutdown and start over. Hope this helps. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
