Mouse_99 Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I am constantly zooming in just to read the numbers on the HUD in the F-16, I know I'm old and can't see very well, but I don't have the same problem in the F/A-18c. I was wondering if they could put a slider in the controls section to adjust the size of the text in the HUD. Also, it would be nice to adjust the color of the text, I think the A-10c has that ability, not sure if the Viper does in real life or not. Not sure if those dials on the IFC control the brightness and contrast on the HUD or the MFD's, I don't get much change in them if I use them.
kengou Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I don’t think it’s possible on the real jet. I recommend binding the view zoom to a handy button or slider. CobaltUK Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 (edited) HUD on/off and brightness is controlled with the same rotary top left of ICP You CAN alter the font size within a lua but not ideal. I have done such for the OSB`s on mfd. Rather have some official improvement though. Maybe not size but clarity by some means.
