Hummingbird Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Asking since people were saying that they experienced an increase in acceleration after a recent patch, yet there is no mention of any adjustments to drag, thrust or anything else FM related in the patch notes for this aircraft.
RaceFuel85 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 100% there are changes being made without being noted Same thing was done with the Hornet
Sniper175 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Most things in general are not listed on change log, ESPECIALLY the flight model changes.... I7-8700 @5GHZ, 32GB 3000MHZ RAM, 1080TI, Rift S, ODYSSEY +. SSD DRIVES, WIN10
Hummingbird Posted October 23, 2019 Author Posted October 23, 2019 Hmm I see, I feel that should change as it would be very nice to know of such stuff.
bucklehead Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Do you guys happen to know if the fuel tanks are still causing drag to after they are jettisoned? Flew against an F-5, punched the tanks off, hit the switch to CAT I, and to me felt like it was still a bit of a dog. EvanWeeks Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 It'd probably be hilarious to see the commit log for the repo. I can just imagine the frustration expressed, "Fixed the thing", and moments later, "Fixed the fix to the thing that broke the thing and about 30 other things." Evan "Preacher" Weeks - Dad. EvanWeeks Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 Yeah, sometimes you don't wanna see how the sausage is made. As a software engineer, I'd probably spend a lot of time laughing, if their commit comments are anything like mine. "Why, in the name of every deity that humanity has ever worshipped, and the abstract concepts of goodness, love and harmony, did anyone think that this was a good idea? What poor, depraved, ignorant, self-loathing creature foisted upon us this monstrosity?" Evan "Preacher" Weeks - Dad. Programmer. Virtual Fighter Pilot. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Use punctuation, save lives!
EvanWeeks Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 That's a bit long for a commit message, no? :) I've seen just "FML. Look at the changes I made and lose all hope in humanity." as a commit message before. I might have even written it. Evan "Preacher" Weeks - Dad. Programmer. Virtual Fighter Pilot. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BuzzU Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Yeah, sometimes you don't wanna see how the sausage is made. The only thing I know for sure is it starts with a kill. Buzz
