Hey I'm an old guy and just post right after a read someone's response so I'm no sure who go what

 

Ok, take a look at the image I attached. See the red arrow and the red circle around the word “quote.” When you are reading a response, and want to directly reply to that person, press that quote button. Then it will look just like what I did here with yours. Copy that (as in understood)? It will make things much better for you and others in the future, as this is getting messy, quickly.

@brooks - look sir, you are typing $#%$*&*^## and it comes across as name calling, using more than PG words.

 

 

The weapon release button is what you are looking for, it is in the settings menu (gear icon) on the main DCS menu. Then under F18 sim, then under HOTAS category. Weapon release

 

You call it the pickle button, but it is labeled as the weapon release button (both in DCS and in real world).

 

I am very tired now, only after a short while of trying to assist you and follow who you are talking to and when. This is a public forum, so whatever you type - everyone can see, not just one particular person.

Feel free to skip around, but the point is, the person talking (call sign CAP), will open the controls menu numerous times, and you should be able to have a visual aid as to what the menu looks like and what the control is that you want to setup.

PG (parental guidance like the movies are rated) words are appropriate ones. 'Non-PG" words require parental guidance.... The forum has rules against using curse words, and while $#%@ isn't technically cursing, it's strongly implied.

Works great buddy, dropped 30+ bombs today online in a multiplayer server in the Hornet.

 

I told you of the only known issue for dropping bombs, regarding the Hornet, after way point designation. The pickle button works just fine, aka the weapon release button.

 

It’s user error on your side it seems, which is why I linked a “hand holding tutorial” on how to setup and assign controls, in the form of a YouTube link, for the Hornet.

 

Don’t know what else to tell you, and appears you need somewhere physically there with you to walk you thru whatever the cause of your problem is.

To answer the OP's question, pickle button is working.

 

We do have an issue where switching from AUTO and WPDSG to CCIP creates a no release scenario.

 

It is reported and being fixed internally.
