Sam Kiwi Mzr Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Hi all, I own an HTC VIVE (1st gen) with ASUS strix 970 GTX with I5 8600K cpu and 32GB ram, 2T SSD and a good motherboard (Z370 cheapset). I would like to improve the image quality when i'm playing. I'm playing with PD of 1.2 and when i increase it, I can't play due of low FPS and jumping image when i'm moving my head. What is the best graphics setting to my setup? I can post exactly the currnet setting when i'll return to my house later this evening. Sorry for the small english mistakes if they exists. Regards, Shmulik
Eaglewings Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 I use the odyssey + with steamvr I understand dcs PD is heavy on the system so I use steamVR super sampling with PD of 1.0. You could try playing with the steamVR super sampling to achieve some better display and a reduced toil on your system. dburne Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Best thing you could do with that rig is upgrade the GPU and then the VR headset when you can. Also if not yet get a good CPU cooler and overclock that 8600k.
