Firmware stuck on step 1/5? (and no buttons)

I have the device selected in the list (I had to view usb devices).

 

I clicked firmware and start auto firmware update.

 

It's been sitting at 1/5 for quite awhile.

 

After running firmware will the buttons work ? Right now only the stick movements are detected no buttons ?

 

I'm using existing TH stick with the WarBrd base

Same setup. You need to get it updated before you go to make the profile. I just spent 9 days with Virpil support to iron out my issues when I tried to use the TM WH VID/PID NUMBERS.

I had to switch to the most recent test release(05.11.) to get it to properly update to the respective firmware and recognize the VFX grip properly.
