In a flameout condition, after the EPU kicks in, hitting the Emergency Jettison button does nothing.

 

(Attempted at 10,000 feet, landing gear up, GBU-10s on positions 4 and 6, flameout occurred due to scenario setting - deliberate - with zero internal fuel, about 297 starting airspeed. Yes, I was practicing flameout landing procedures).

Here's the missing track file when I reproduced it. Very easy to reproduce... just try to hit the Emergency Jettison button after it has switched over to the EPU.
