Worrazen Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 (edited) Ed have already said that the clouds will be synced in MP. It’s not hard. Something something other sim something something.... I guess that's something specific and one of the things, but MP in general, is a process that'll take time to perfect. I got into Destiny 2 a bit since I got it for free during the Blizzcon in 2018, the latency compensation there is extreme, there's almost a 40% chance of simultaneous kills on both ends by either shooting or bashing, whenever the two people are shooting at each other in roghly the same moment, so even the so called top AAA games can't get it right, because there is no way around it, the network latency is many times bigger than anything else. 60 fps is 16.6 miliseconds and chances are ping is far higher most of the time, unless both users have the best FTTH internet service and happen to be in a geographic location where the infrastructure is good so there is as less routing as possible. But still, frame rate is only visual, your inputs, the physics and the engine, all that runs on microseconds level if not less I would guess, it wouldn't be as smoot if it wouldn't. BoneDust Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Agree with Arctander on this. Wish people would wait before stuff is really implemented in game and working at least semi-bugfree before heaping praise on ED.It’s unfortunately the same over and over again.ED announce something and tease some pics and people start raving somewhat prematurely. Each to their own, but I am sceptical. So much has been announced and teased in the past, much of which hasn‘t arrived yet. So I ll wait for concrete tangible improvements in the core game before pushing out compliments. If Ed deploy ‘new clouds’ without them being synced in Multiplayer, even if it is ‘coming later’, after their very clear messages that they heard and will sync them, I for one will be very disappointed.
MacEwan Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Clouds that aren't synced in multiplayer would kinda defeat the purpose. And I dont even really fly that much multiplayer lately.
