Fire supression

Hi folks,

 

last time I flew the Tomcat I experienced an engine fire in the left engine due to AAA ground fire.

 

I immediately decided to to for single engine operation and pulled the left fire handle in order to gain access to the red extinguisher button below it.

How should I say ... I wasn't able to reach the red button because the handle was only slightly pulled out, but not enough ...

Is the yellow/black handle inteded to be pulled out completely, or just slightly ... ?

 

Should it currently work in the current OpenBeta?

I know where the red button is placed, I can see it if I put my head fully down on my desk, look upwards (which might look very funny from outside).

When flying in VR I cannot see them without this painful "body head-neck-streching-technique". I guess in reality I would most probably reach it with the first finger.

 

 

One question still remains: Are the bottles really working in the current openbeta?
