A Lock On cheat I would like to see gone

If you get hit and ALT-J to your wingman, you can see that when the AI takes over, it regains control of your stricken fighter (even if you lost a whole wing and are in flames) and goes on flying and fighting.

 

I hate this. :roll:

I forgot ... the same thing happens if you enter an unrecoverable spin - ALT-J and ... instant recovery! just go back to your fighter and resume flying.

uhhh alt p is the legit default spin recovery tool. check your COMAND sheet print outs in the game cd. :partyman:

Stick forward, opposite rudder

You know the Mig29 can recover itself sometimes. I heard of an Indian pilot losing control and ejecting only to find the aircraft recover and carry on flying lol.(not sure if it was a 29 or 27) The aircraft flew until it ran out of fuel and crashed.

Agreed ... especially if you try <Alt><J> back again and it is now unflyanle again!!

 

If the AI FM is so different from the 'piloted' FM doesn't this give the AI a big advantage in ACM??? I also hate takeoffs where your wingman zooms passed as you struggle to get airborne ... especially in the A-10!
