Hi there!

I have the T.16000M flight suit and really had nothing to complain about (I got it on Amazon a couple of years ago for only 165 euros...).

Unfortunately, lately the mini-stick on the throttle began to spike a lot. I use it mostly to slew sensors around (radar, TGP, Mavs, etc) and it drifts away, to the left side, sometimes down, making it really hard to use, especially with TGPs.

I searched the Internet to find a solution, but came up empty ended...

So, is there anyone here who can help? Keep in mind I'm not much savvy when it comes to messin' about with this kind of hardware, I opened it up a couple of times to work on the screw that allows to adjust tension, but that's just it.

Might be the pots/sensors in the mini sticks that's gone. Should last longer than a couple of years though.

Email Amazon or TM support.

TM support was fantastic in the 90s. They always shipped me spare parts for free.

Even a brand new F-22 stick once, only the pots were faulty and I had just asked for new ones.

Hey guys,

thank you for your replies.

Max, unfortunately it's been more than 2 years since I purchased the hardware, so even here in Europe, warranty is gone. I might try to contact TM support, maybe they can send me a replacement potentiometer/sensor.

Ant0ine, thanks for the link, a very interesting video, too bad doesn't show more of the ministick. What kind of cleaner should I use on it?

Was there ever a resolution to this issue?

I'm experiencing it now with a severe movement downward on the Y axis of the throttle joystick.

I have to take apart my joystick and throttle every 6 months of so to do this. Usually it's the throttle mini-stick and the joystick twist/yaw.

It's a minor hassle, but worth it.

I just did this last night. I couldn't use the mini stick to slew at all. took about and sprayed WD-40 in the throttle potentiometer and mini stick assembly. Guess I can do that in 6 months. I see it as maintenance
