Also, will AFM be eventually applied to all flyables? :)

I was getting kind of jealous about how the guys over at the IL2 forums are bragging about Oleg listening to them.

 

Now I don't have to be jealous any more. We have a great bunch of devs that really care about their product. It's gonna feel really good to spend my money w/a company that cares about a quality product.

In LOMAC for each missile has the seeker gimbals accordingly official data.

Hmm… 150 000 feet? Really?

In 1.1. with new loft trajectory AIM-54 can reach 32 km (105 000 ft.) with the launch range at 145 km.

We are beginning to develop a dynamic campaign for the next project.

While for Su-25/Su-25Т only. For all we haven’t enough time unfortunately.

Yeah ... the -A only lofted to about 100K, the -C lofts even higher apparently.

I'll try to find the source that mentioned it, it was fairly reliable but hard to find :P

 

So, no AFM for existing aircraft in lockon ... in next project, perhaps?

 

I do not know what all is involved in making the AFM, I imagine one needs to study some aerodynamics but, if there were say, a person or people who were willing to sign an NDA and work on it for free, would it be possible to let such people create the AFM for new planes, or would it be too risky?

 

I'm also happy that you guys are developing the DC for your next project ... I was just hoping to see some interesting things in LOMAC, like events and triggers :)
