Hi guys,

A little idea that may be a big idea!

Add a metallic noise when the throttle lever is not in the afterburner area.

Nice day.

Why?

Why is the good question here. The real aircraft doesn't do that. I can understand some things being added in for lack of the feedback a real pilot gets but I'm failing to see what the benefit of that noise is.

For comfort reasons, without having to look if I exceed the limit when the controller switches to the afterburner zone.

I really like the idea of realism, my father was a pilot.

It was just an idea. ;-)

There is a pretty distinct noise in the jet when the thing goes into gates...

Mhh.. i would be more for realism. The question is what is realistic ?. I have problems with a cold start and the ability to hear like in a helmet. Why do I hear switches and buttons! and not the throttle detent?. Strange. They rely on realism and are already doing something wrong here.

In this Viper Video you can hear the click with a loud background. Doesn't seem to be so quiet..what ever:pain:
