metzger Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) As per F-16 BEM, the master modes setups are customizable e.g. on the screenshot. You can customize your radar mode and MFD configurations defaults for each master mode. It is part of the Pre-Takeoff Preparation in the official F-16 BEM. For example now when I switch to missile override it switches the right mfd to SMS page while I would like to keep it in HSD page. Edited December 16, 2019 by metzger typo [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Just program that on the ground... go to missile override and set up one of the blank OSB buttons to HSD... Once you do that go back to NAV mode, etc... now when you select missile override it will bring up the HSD... Also... you can DMS right or left and cycle through custom pages that you setup.... You can do this for all modes and on all MFD's 1 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] V55th FS | 55th DiscordViper pit Discord

If and when we have a DTC option you’ll be able to set up your MFD pages for each master mode, program chaff and flares, set steerpoints, set targets, radio freq’s and more before getting in the jet. For now the above is how it’s done allowing it to also be done on the fly so to speak. MadCat1381 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 That's one of the best features of the Viper's cockpit. Way less fiddling around with OSBs when you are in combat.

Yep... with proper setup on the ground you can pretty much go Master arm on and then whatever submode and you really are not fooling with OSB buttons after that...
