docgreen2010 Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 One press, no matter the settings of the CMDS system, causes continuous chaff/flare release until low (20) then another press takes it to zero. This appears to be a bug in the stable version, and the open beta is fixed. For those of us boring people who fly the stable version, this makes dogfights unwinnable.

Altering the CMDS file changes nothing. Any program in manual mode dumps the same, dual fares, chaff until it's down to 20. I mapped that to the CMS Forward and it now runs the manual settings made in the plane. Now my question is what file controls the settings that are loaded into the plane, because it isn't loading what I have saved in the CMDS_ALE47.lua file? Edit: CMS file changes are being loaded into the plane. Not sure why. Perhaps the code changed? I haven't had time to go back through the file so I ended up using the ICP lol. You get pretty fast after a few dozen cold starts.
