Allentc2 Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Well, I hopped into DCS for the first time yesterday, taking the Su-27 for a spin in FC3. First jumped immediately in to free flight, then did the "Start up/taxi/take-off" lesson. Holy crap this is unreal. LOL So the questions..... 1) I am assuming the lo-fi models in FC3 do NOT have clickable interiors? It'll all be keyboard/HOTAS commands? 2) Where is a good source of printable manuals/checklists? 3) I cannot be the only guy playing on a laptop while sitting on his couch. How do you other potatoes position your stick/throttle while deep in the butt-groove? I am thinking of a short piece of lumber, like shelf material, to place under the thighs, with the stick and throttle attached.
draconus Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 Welcome! 1. Yes, no clickable cockpits in FC3 and Su-25T. 2. You can find manuals in \DCS World\Mods\aircraft\Flaming Cliffs\Doc folder. 3. You'll probably not find this position suitable for any serious flying :) I use monitor and have all on my desktop. Allentc2 Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 Problem with that is I have no desktop or monitor. LOL Just the laptop.

Allentc2 Posted January 7, 2020 Author Posted January 7, 2020 Not really, not that'd facilitate this.
