F-14 is excellent:thumbup: I'm learning this awesome bird now.

But I haven't saw the AIR INLET CONTROL SYSTEM give the intake ramps any command to move them,no matter during take off, transonic,or supersonic. Is this system still a WIP?

Just curious about it. Any help?

The intake ramps in the F-14 are automated, and don't even begin to move until just above Mach 1.

Can't pretend fly as well as you can.

It's my bad,I think I was not fast enough to trigger an evident ramp movement

Thanks for the help.

They unlock at Mach .35 and start to schedule at Mach 0.5. They’re not implemented in the module yet.

The entire AICS system is implemented and was fully functional on EA release. It affects engine inlet performance and inlet drag, try stowing the ramps when supersonic and see what happens.

challege accepted... can't wait to try it tonight!

I'm thinking it should result in compressor stall and much engine damage... flameout if nothing else...

Flameouts are unlikely in the F110, but compressor stalls and turbine damage are definitely in the mix.
