Scifer Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Looking at the flight path vector in the HUD, I noticed this aircraft flies sideways to the left, specially on landings. It affects the bombing line a lot as well. How can I make it fly straight?
laxentis Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Are you sure it isn't the wind causing the drift? The primary factor of flying sideways is the crosswind component, so my best guess is you are simply pushed by it. Wysłane z mojego ANE-LX1 przy użyciu Tapatalka
IronMike Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 Yes, it is most likely wind. If it is crass, like the whole HUD being tilted, then you broke your INS. Banzaiib Posted January 21, 2020 Posted January 21, 2020 if the boat's moving into the wind, then you have a 9 degree crosswind... so the flight path marker is going to be off to the right side of the landing area when you're on approach (if you're lined up correctly)
Scifer Posted January 21, 2020 Author Posted January 21, 2020 (edited) I looked in weather settings and there is no wind at all. I only tested in Nevada but will try another maps soon. Edited January 21, 2020 by Scifer

You probably over G'ed the jet and broke your INS. Scifer Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 You probably over G'ed the jet and broke your INS. I don't think so. Since I just finished learning navigation I just flew from one airbase to another.
Scifer Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 I just found the source of the problem: ACTIVE PAUSE It offsets the gyro but when the game resumes it doesn't go back to normal. How can I report it to developers?

How can I report it to developers? You just did. Thank you for finding this. Not sure if we can do something about it, but we will look into it. I made a tracker for it. Thanks again. Scifer Posted January 22, 2020 Author Posted January 22, 2020 Not sure if we can do something about it. It looks like the only problem is gyro not being affected by active pause. I hope it isn't difficult to solve. I'm eager for HeatBlur's next product.
r4y30n Posted January 22, 2020 Posted January 22, 2020 I bet the INS position isn't pausing, in a way the INS is flying away from the paused aircraft.
