Airhunter Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 In today's mini-update it was stated that the current LITENING pod will be added to the cheek station. Would it be technically possible/feasable to create a visual ATFLIR model to go on that station instead, which uses the current LITENING pod code and symbology? Would surely allow for a more authentic setup for US NAVY operations once the new Supercarriers come out. Having a LITENING pods on a carrier would seem a bit off.
TheGuardian Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 (edited) I'm sure someone can mod that out. Not that it matters all that much to me. LITENING and ATFLIR don't look that much different to me (outside looks, not functionality) Edited January 28, 2020 by TheGuardian
Swift. Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Working on a mod right now, fear not. Having said that, there is pretty much no reason for ED to not put a stopgap ATFLIR in the game, using a copy of the existing LITENING interface, just using the existing ATFLIR models. 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2

Yeah that would be great. The pod does look quite different, espeially the sensor area.
Bones1775 Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 or you could use this. still a litening but the light gray version doesn't look as out of place. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3307317/
