TEMPER Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 For some reason whenever i load the model into DCS it doesn't render properly. Does anyone know how/why it happens? I use 3D Max with edm exporter and for the live of me i can't figure it out. I've attached two images one where it rendered fine and worked, 2nd image where it just clips into the ground and doesn't render the whole box (just the front and back) Thanks in advance [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
razo+r Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 How is it made? Is it a box or a simple plane?
TEMPER Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 It's a box with 2 cylindrical stands [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
joey45 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 What's the screen shot of it in max?? Have the grid showing as I think it's too low down when exported.. The base of the model needs to be zeroed. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. TEMPER Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 Here are a couple of screenshots of it in max. I'll add some more in a sec of how it displays in DCS [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
TEMPER Posted January 29, 2020 Author Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) Here are the pics of how it displays in DCS, I've fixed the clipping issue appearantly the Z axis should've been higher. I still get the whiteness and missing sides on the object Edited January 29, 2020 by TEMPER [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
joey45 Posted January 29, 2020 Posted January 29, 2020 (edited) Move the model up in Max so the base is just under the the zero mark.
