Just curious if the Developer's journal on the main page will be used?

 

I think this is an excellent idea and would be awesome to help keep the community informed of what's going on without having to dig through hundreds of forum posts.

I hope it will be used. The creators of the game Halo (Bungie Studios) have a habit of posting weekly updates every single Friday. They even did this while developing each Halo game. I thought this was awesome because they discussed what was going on and changes that was happening. This brought a sense of community between a game creator and their fans and I found this most unusual. I hope ED can do some sort of weekly update thing. It doesnt even have to be a large update. I remember Bungie making a whole weekly update just about how good their water physics were.

Yes, we hope to be update the journal regularly (per-week to per-month basis) with text and video "insights" into the game. Stay tuned.
