FiringPin Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 One for the Devs (don't know where to put this). Does DCS intend to implement VRSS?? This seems to potentially be a game-changer in VR, especially as: "Developers won’t need to add VRSS support, as it’s handled by the driver" as indicated by Nvidia. https://www.techradar.com/news/nvidias-new-driver-gives-a-major-boost-to-games-for-free-thanks-to-vrss
The_Nephilim Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 the game needs to support forward rendering which DCS does not have Intel Ultra 265K 5.5GHZ / Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Elite / MSI 4070Ti Ventus 12GB / SoundBlaster Z SoundCard / Corsair Vengance 64GB Ram / HP Reverb G2 / Samsung 980 Pro 2TB Games / Crucial 512GB M.2 Win 11 Pro 21H2 / ButtKicker Gamer / CoolerMaster TD500 Mesh V2 PC Case
Mars Exulte Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 There's always new tech coming out, but in.this case it doesn't seem DCS has the right kind of engine. Btw, if ''devs don't have to add supoort because its handled by the drivers'' then ED don't need to ''implement'' anything, right? Your whole question is contradictory ;) The feature is already enabled in the Nvidia drivers, but as you can see it is not available for the DCS.exe For reference you can do something similar with a shader mask. Some VR mods in this very forum are doing exactly that. Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2
