So I am having a problem with the game going black (I play in VR with SteamVR) and normally I can be flying around a little bit and then boom all black.

ERROR SOUND: IAudioClient::GetCurrentPadding failed: 0x88890004

Thats the line I keep getting in the log. I have uploaded my last two logs in the zip.

I am still running a few tests but I think I might have figured out the problem. I had a beta version of WMR for SteamVR installed for some reason. I switched back to main branch and so far no crash. Ill keep you guys up to date if I find out the full reason.

This error is AUDCLNT_E_DEVICE_INVALIDATED

"The audio endpoint device has been unplugged, or the audio hardware or associated hardware resources have been reconfigured, disabled, removed, or otherwise made unavailable for use."

It is not critical and cannot crash anything. It may happen if you unplug your audio device.

I bet that your VR headset gets unplugged (or may be its drivers crash), and the sound error is a consequence, not the cause.

Yep thats what its looking like to me. I had to send my reverb in because it kept going back. I know there was a error in some of the devises where it would loose video connection but everything else worked fine.
