RAF_JAGUAR Posted February 29, 2020 Posted February 29, 2020 DCS Openbeta 2.5.6.43872 + Update I appear to be leaking memory faster than an F-18 on drugs since i installed the above update plus the mini hotfix update that shortly followed it. Loading times for anything now take forever and you so much as knock the mouse when loading something in DCS the game instantly pulls up an application error message, it eventually will fix itself and load but only after an extended wait. I have tried a cleanup and repair with no joy. The problem if anything is getting worse. The game is now making my PC work hard and the cooling fans are constantly on at about mid range even in the menu screens. That never used to happen. Am i alone with this issue or is this a known problem please? If a reinstall will sort it, happy to do it, but the fan noise is driving me batshit crazy How much longer, Ops? The engine’s overheating and so am I. We either stand down or blow up. Which do you want? :pilotfly::pilotfly::pilotfly:

RAF_JAGUAR Posted March 1, 2020 Author Posted March 1, 2020 Hi We are investigating issues, but please attach your dcs log, either the zip folder it creates when it crashes or the dcs log ( just zip it to attach here ) we will take a closer look thanks Thanks for taking the time to reply. I changed my pagefile size as per your reply to another post i read and that appears to have solved the crashing problem, the loading times, and my fans are thankfully once again on a rest period most of the time. Many thanks for your help, Mrs Jaguar was threatening to ban my late night DCS flying because of the noise so i am most grateful.:thumbup::thumbup: How much longer, Ops?
